First soccer game...

Stretching first, so we can be prepared. Carrie was well prepared and they were ready for the game, but none of them were ready for the 90 degree day with 100% humidity! Ugh!! The game consisted of four six minute quarters which wasn't bad but the entire time Sydney said it was just to HOT and she wasn't interested in running around she wanted to go the book festival which was after the game. As parents on the sidelines we had many more laughs then the kids. The kids scored mainly on their own goal. We will have to see what next week holds...hopefully cooler weather.
